Here is some pictures I took when I got my engine back from the machine shop and a few extras of miscellaneous items.
ahhh a fresh 306 ready to be assembled, I bet you cant even tell that the #5 cyl. has been sleeved!
here are my turbos, I will be getting them rebuilt before I install them.
here you can see the new .030 over forged aluminum slugs and stock rods.
I'm nobody's dummy ARP rod bolts as well!
one freshly polished crank, didn't even have to be turned. :)
misfortune at its greatest, this is one of my junkyard turbos. Upon closer inspection you can see the cracks in the exhaust side of the turbo as indicated by the pink arrows. The blue arrow is pointing to a casting ridge. I'm told that this won't be a real problem.
