I wanted to show the problem and the fix with the valve cover breather a little better with this long overdue update.
Couple of other obstacles I had to overcome, on the left the
distributor actually touches the fuel rail but I managed to add spacers
to make it work. On the right I had to trim the throttle cable bracket
to clear the now necessary taller valve covers.
I had to also add an intake spacer so the throttle would clear the
valve covers which meant more clearancing on the hood, but once
finished you'd never know.
I added a fiberglass bumper to loose weight and I cut the holes out to
help feed the intercooler, I painted the whole mess with a rattle
can.
Overall engine with finished and operating EFI I also finally got around to wrapping the passenger side turbo.
