Roll bar and Sub frame install
Roll bar is an S&W racecars piece made just for a Fairmont or Zephyr.
It's hard to believe there is a market for a roll bar to be produced for this car.
When you can't weld it's good to have friends that can! That's Chris Gaiser tying the roll bar pieces together.
Now that the bar is installed I can get to work on the rest of the interior.
Since we had the welder out we installed the sub frame connectors as well.
These connectors were designed for a Mustang of course and were advertised as being the longest available which is what allowed fitment into my longer wheelbase Zephyr.
As soon as I got the car home I painted the connectors to keep them from rusting, not that it will be much of a problem in Arizona! I really did not want semi gloss black but its what was available at the time, and they'll get dirty soon enough anyway.
